HPI Baja 5b V2.0
AU$1399
When the designers at HPI released the original Baja buggy to the public, we didn't realize the absolute storm of popularity it would enjoy. Racers everywhere loved it, reviews from all over the world absolutly glowed with enthusiasm, shops ran out of stock and brand new companies sprung up to make wild hop-ups for this one-of-a-kind machine. We had just as much fun tracking all the praise as we did for the Savage monster truck! Most encouraging of all, though, we heard back from customers everywhere about how much they enjoy their Baja, which is the best thing we could possibly expect.
After all that, you'll understand that when it comes to updating such a legendary car, you can't mess with the magic too much: we wanted to give our fans more of the same, without going overboard. It was a tricky subject, but we're sure we got it right on the money. |

Savage XL
AU$849
AU$949
Check out the new addition to the Savage line-up! The Savage XL is the extra-large, extra-tough and extra-powerful big brother to the Savage X monster truck. For improved stability and handling, the Savage XL has a 55mm longer wheelbase and a 25mm wider track. With a longer wheelbase, wider stance and huge 5.9cc (.36 cubic inch) engine, the Savage XL is ready to rock and roll right out of the box. The HPI design team added strategically strengthened hop-up parts to tame the massive K5.9 power for unmatched durability. The Savage XL soaks up the rough stuff with ease because it's the biggest, toughest, and most powerful Savage ever!
The Savage XL definitely looks the part of the massive monster truck! The extended wheelbase is the perfect evolution of the Savage design, and the extended chassis and larger tires are a perfect match for the new, bigger 'GT Gigante' body!
The wide front grill and huge headlights of the GT Gigante body merge with the flared wheel arches front and rear for a huge 'wow factor,' adding to the impression of huge size and strength! The large Terra Pin tires fit the body perfectly for a scale monster truck look that's sure to intimidate the opposition at your local bashing arena! But the Savage XL isn't about just looking great, the HPI designers went all-out to make sure it performs as good as it looks! |

HPI Baja 5T
AU$1899
The Baja 5T was inspired by the latest generation of desert trucks that compete in the world famous Baja 1000 race in Mexico. The body was built for a perfect fit on the Baja 5T chassis, with sculpted fenders, scoops, louvers, and an integrated roll cage for authentic desert-tough looks. In true HPI RTR form, the body is completely ready to go right out the box... painted in your choice of black or white, mounted, pre-applied racing decals and tinted windows. Factor in the front skid plate bumper, Desert Buster tires mounted on Outlaw truck wheels with real bead locks, and you've got a truck that looks like it just rolled off the starting line in Ensenada.
But the Baja 5T goes way beyond looks, under the skin is a tough truck with the power to mow down anything in its path. Power comes from a massive 26cc gasoline engine, delivering rock solid performance, easy tuning and run times of more than 30 minutes on a single tank. The high performance 8,000 RPM clutch and new high flow muffler give the Baja 5T the power to launch with a roost of desert dirt on the way to a screaming top speed of more than 40 MPH.
For improved handling, the Baja 5T rear shock tower has been modified for increased rear suspension travel. All four shock absorbers have thick diameter shafts for extra durability. The VVC/HD shocks are tuned for smooth suspension dampening to help soak up the desert terrain. The innovative design of the Baja 5T includes a rigid 4mm aluminum alloy chassis for extreme durability.
